There is a project for First year B.sc life sciences students,

ELIGIBILITY :
Science : Students presently studying in 1st year B.Sc ( in any
science stream ).

The total number of Fellowships offered will be upto 10. After the
successful completion of the programme at the end of 3 years, the
students will a receive a certificate from the centre.
 

Scholarship of Rs. 5000/- per month will be provided.

Last date for requests for application forms : January 31, 2008
Last date for receipt of completed application forms : February 29,
2008

Applications are
invited from eligible students to carry out research in Physics,
Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and in interdisciplinary areas of
science.

Eligibility criteria:

1.1st Class MS/M.Sc./M. Tech/MBBS with good academic track record
(minimum first class in all board and university examinations).

2.Upper age limit is 28 years as on 31st December of the previous
year.

3.Applicants should have qualified CSIR-UGC NET JRF or equivalent
fellowship examinations or GATE (minimum 95%) or JEST.

The research fellowship for candidates qualified through CSIR-UGC NET
or equivalent examination would be as per the terms of the funding
agency.
